In an effort to reach as many candidates as possible, LGA has revised the  schedule for the 2015 Contemplating Governing program. Registered participants will begin courses at 6:30 p.m., Feb. 18, with a live-interactive webinar titled, “Tackling Candidate Red Tape.”

All in-person sessions begin at 6 p.m., at the Green Tree Municipal Center. The first session on April 1, will cover additional filing requirements, financial reporting and the election. The second session, on April 7, will cover local government structure, powers and taxation. The third session  on April 15, discusses ethics and civility in campaigning.

We are excited to bring this blended program of online and in-person training, allowing us to get out critical information needed at the start of the nominating petition process and also key information during the Primary season.  For more information go to Contemplating Governing.
