Promoting excellence —right from the start
To kick off the 2013 election season, LGA will offer three sessions of Contemplating Governing, a program for potential candidates for local office. After the General Election in November, the Academy’s will offer its highly acclaimed “Newly Elected Officials Course” (NEOC). Ongoing training to build on the solid foundation developed in the Newly Elected Officials Course occurs throughout the year.

  • Sponsorship of the Contemplating Governing (2012-2013) / Newly Elected Officials Course (2013-2014). Logos of sponsors are included on marketing materials for Contemplating Governing and the formal invitation for the Newly Elected Officials Course.
  • Recognition as Contemplating Governing or NEOC sponsor via signage at event
  • Opportunity to facilitate "Third Thursdays," a monthly roundtable discussion focusing on a current topic of interest to local governments
  • Logo displayed on announcements, program brochures, special event signage, and website - which will link back to your site
  • Two tickets to the NEOC Opening Day Lunch (November 2013) and NEOC Graduation Dinner (March 2014), with your renewal fo support for 2013-2014.
