The Local Government Academy provides courses to inform and to train public officials, public employees and the public as a public service. The Academy reserves the right to remove or change its courses and their content at any time for any reason.
The materials and instruction provided as part of a training course are for general informational purposes only. Although the Academy makes every effort to provide accurate general information to all participants in its courses, information may suddenly become inaccurate because of changes in the applicable law or in processes and procedures. The Academy does not warrant the accuracy of the information provided.
The materials and instruction provided as part of a training course employees are for general informational purposes only and not for the purpose of providing legal advice. All participants in a course offered by the Academy should contact their attorney to obtain advice with respect to any particular issue or problem or topic.
All participants in any in-person event and/or course offered by the Academy acknowledge that photographs and videos may be taken during such event and/or course. By his or her attendance, each participant consents to the Academy’s use of their images appearing in such photographs or videos. Participants agree that the Academy may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by the Academy including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, etc.
