Christopher P. Gabriel represents counties, municipalities, and municipal authorities in matters relating to labor relations, collective bargaining, labor contract administration, grievances, labor arbitrations, personnel and human resources consultation and training and other general employment matters. He also counsels clients on matters related to the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans With Disabilities Act, the Affordable Care Act, the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection law, and other state and federal laws impacting the work place.
Born in DuBois Pennsylvania, Chris attended St. Vincent College in Latrobe, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in American History and Anthropology. Chris went on to Duquesne University, where he obtained a Master’s degree in American History. Chris served as a field artillery soldier in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. At law school, he was a member of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Journal of Technology Law & Policy. Chris enjoys reading, keeping abreast of current events and travelling, but prefers to spend most of his time at his home in Renfrew, a rural community in Butler County where he lives with his wife and children.
