As we settle into 2025, Local Government Academy has been hard at work on a variety of projects dedicated to promoting excellence in Local Government. In exciting news, our refreshed website is now live, offering a modernized look, improved navigation, and easier access to essential resources for local government leaders. Be sure to explore the new features and stay connected with our latest programs.

In addition to our website launch, we recently hosted a successful Municipal Intern Program Fair at Carnegie Mellon University, connecting students with valuable opportunities in local government at our 19 placement sites throughout Western Pennsylvania. With over 50 students in attendance, this fair marked one of the highest turnouts for our fair ever, keeping in key with our 30^th anniversary for the program.  Opportunities are still available, so please direct students to our website to apply.

Moreover, our PACOG webinar series continues to provide insightful discussions on key issues facing municipalities. Check out the new PACOG website for more information on upcoming webinars and our plans for regional meetings.
