February is busy season at Local Government Academy. We are in the midst of the 2023-2024 Newly Elected Officials Course, actively planning the start of the Municipal Intern Program, and in the process of announcing several other new initiatives. But despite all the work, we can’t help falling in love with local government again this Valentine’s Day.
As Valentine’s Day approaches, we’re feeling the love in the air, and what better time to express our heartfelt appreciation for the incredible work of our local governments and vast network of volunteers who help make our programming possible!
At Local Government Academy, our commitment to fostering a thriving and connected community is at the core of our mission to Promote Excellence in Local Government.
Working on the Newly Elected Officials Course, we see firsthand the time, effort, and passion that people from all walks of life will give to improving the function of local government.
Our thanks go out to the many speakers and volunteers who have dedicated their Saturday to making the first series of classes of NEOC a success!
