Local Government Academy’s educational resources support municipal leaders seeking to serve the greater good and who value on-going professional development. This year, we have met the rising demand for fact-based information delivered in a timely fashion, educating over 1,250 individuals and delivering over 3,000 hours of instruction to date.

Our promise to develop the leaders of tomorrow begins with our Municipal Intern Program and extends to prospective public officials with Run for Office. Our support of local government officials and staff, who want relevant and realistic information, is reflected by our Blight Mitigation Initiative and Fall Workshop Series.

Our heroes in local government are faced with a dizzying cycle of challenges, and we will continue to offer educational programs and technical assistance to support our public servants.
