Throughout 2023, Local Government Academy will celebrate our 40 years of providing fact-based, non-partisan information to municipal officials and employees. During this time, we have become a recognized and trusted provider of education that puts communities on the path to good governance, but we couldn’t do that without the involvement of local governments themselves.

Building upon our legacy of working successfully across Southwestern Pennsylvania to educate municipal officials and employees, we begin 2023 with new grant programs and training opportunities focused on real-world challenges facing our communities now.

Join us virtually on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 @ 5 PM or Wednesday, March 8, 2023 @ 12 PM to learn about Local Government Academy’s new funding opportunities available to local governments through our Technical Assistance program, which includes the completion of Blight Studies and Financial Health Assessments.

Our announcement isn’t just specific to municipal representatives!

In fact, we hope members of the faith community and local Non-Profits will partner with local governments through our Community Partnerships and Collaboration program, which prioritizes the delivery of technical assistance to your community.
